South Indian Breakfast

This is the weekend breakfast winner! Idli dosa and all the trimmings keep everyone happy, and since much of the work is done ahead of time, this can be done without killing the cook with exhaustion!
I take the precaution of serving up large quantities of idlis, then starting on the dosas, if you do it in reverse, you will end up standing at the fry pan all day while greedy people eat hot dosa after dosa. So be warned.

This is a typical brunch meal, after church on Sunday, when Sunday visitors also arrive, unannounced but welcomed. I swear all my kids have in built idli radars.
